Pro feature You need SimpleBoards Pro active to use this.
This page shows you how to turn on the checklist progress bar for one board. Once it is on, every roadmap card with checklist tasks will show a small progress bar with the count of completed tasks and a percentage. Visitors and admins both see the bar.
Before you start
- SimpleBoards Pro is active and your license is in the
Activestate. See Activate your Pro license. - The board you want to use already exists.
Step by step
- In your WordPress admin, go to SimpleBoards > Boards.
- Click the title of the board.
- The board edit screen opens on the General tab.
- Scroll down to the row labeled Progress.
- Tick the checkbox next to Show checklist progress bar on roadmap cards.
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the page.
What changed
The board is now ready to show progress bars. The bar will only appear on a roadmap card after you add at least one checklist task to that card. Cards without checklist tasks stay the same as before.
The bar shows three things:
- A short line like 3/8 tasks on the left.
- A percentage like 38% on the right.
- A coloured bar underneath. Green means 80% or more is done, amber means between 45% and 79%, red means less than 45%.
You can turn the bar off for this board at any time. Untick Show checklist progress bar on roadmap cards. and click Update. The bars disappear from the cards but the checklist tasks stay saved on each item.
