Change the URL slug for boards

By default, board pages live at /products/your-board-slug/. You can change the products part to anything you want, for example roadmap or feedback.

Before you start:

  • You are signed in as a WordPress administrator.

Step by step

  1. In the WordPress admin menu, click SimpleBoards > Settings.
  2. Open the General tab.
  3. In the Permalink Base field, type the word you want, for example roadmap.
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. Go to Settings > Permalinks (the WordPress core permalinks screen).
  6. Click Save Changes there too. This refreshes the URL rules so the new slug works.

What changed

Every board now lives at /your-new-slug/your-board-slug/. Old links that used the previous slug stop working, so update any pages or emails that linked to a board.
