Turn moderation on or off

Decide whether new ideas appear on the public board right away or wait for your approval first.

Step by step

1. In the WordPress admin menu, click SimpleBoards > Settings.
2. Open the Submissions tab.
3. In the Moderation row:
   • Tick Require admin approval for new submissions to hold new ideas until you approve them.
   • Untick the box to publish new ideas instantly.
4. Click Save Changes.

What changed

With moderation on, every new idea (from logged-in users or guests) is saved as Pending and does not appear on the public board until an admin approves it.

With moderation off, new ideas are published the moment they are submitted.
