What the plugin set up for you
When SimpleBoards activates, it does a few things in the background:
- It creates three default statuses: Planned, In Progress, and Done. You can rename or replace these later from SimpleBoards > Statuses.
- It creates two tables in your database to store votes. These tables are needed for voting to work.
- It sets the default board URL base to
products. Your boards will live at addresses likehttps://your-site.com/products/board-name/. You can change this later from SimpleBoards > Settings. - It uses your site admin email as the address that gets notified when a new idea is submitted.
You do not need to do anything with these defaults yet. The next page shows you how to create a board.
