Read the Reports view

Pro feature You need SimpleBoards Pro active to use this.

This page explains the two parts of the Torin AI Reports view: the six KPI tiles at the top, and the short list of plain-language insights below. Together they give you a one-screen summary of how healthy your board (or all your boards) is.

How to open the view

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to SimpleBoards > Items.
  2. Use the All Boards dropdown to pick one board, or leave it on All Boards for a site-wide report.
  3. Click the Torin AI button in the bottom right of the screen.
  4. In the panel, click Reports.

The six KPI tiles

Across the top of the report you will see six tiles. Each tile has a single number.

  • Ideas. The total count of ideas in the scope you picked.
  • Votes. The total count of votes cast across those ideas.
  • Comments. The total count of comments across those ideas.
  • High demand. The count of ideas that score 10 or higher. The score is (votes × 3) + comments, the same scoring used in Top Ideas.
  • Duplicate rate. The share of ideas (in percent) that Torin grouped into duplicate clusters. 0% means no duplicates were found.
  • Stalled. The count of ideas that are at least 60 days old and have zero votes and zero comments.

"What Users Want Most"

The Reports view itself focuses on health numbers. The deeper "what should we build next" view is a separate panel button: What Users Want Most.

Click that button instead of Reports when you want a short list of the top user demands, with the related ideas underneath. The view groups similar ideas together and shows you which idea Torin thinks is the strongest single signal in that group. Each row has a Move to roadmap button you can click to promote that idea right away.

A footer below the list adds two extra buttons when there is more than one row:

  • Move all to roadmap. Promotes every idea in the list to the roadmap. A confirmation asks first.
  • Create roadmap from top insight. Creates a fresh roadmap item based on the top group, instead of promoting one of the existing ideas.

The insight lines

Below the KPI tiles, the Reports view shows a short list of plain-English insights. Each line is one sentence. Examples of what you may see:

  • 5 of 38 ideas show strong demand signals.
  • Duplicate rate is high. Prioritize cleanup before adding more roadmap items.
  • Top recommendation to build next: … followed by an idea title.
  • 4 ideas have gone 60+ days with no engagement. Consider trashing them.

The insights are generated from the same numbers shown in the tiles, written in a way you can read fast.

What is not in this view

The Reports view does not include:

  • A list of individual ideas. (Use Top Ideas for that.)
  • The list of duplicate groups. (Use Duplicate Ideas for that.)
  • A history over time. The report reflects the data on your board right now.
