Let visitors submit ideas without an account

Allow people to send you ideas even if they are not logged in. They will be asked for a name and an email when they submit.

Step by step

  1. In the WordPress admin menu, click SimpleBoards > Settings.
  2. Open the Submissions tab.
  3. In the Guest Submissions row, tick Allow guest users to submit ideas.
  4. Click Save Changes.

What changed

The submission form on the Ideas tab now works for visitors who are not logged in. Each guest idea is saved with the name and email they entered.

If moderation is on, the idea waits in SimpleBoards > Items until you approve it. See Turn moderation on or off.
