Change who gets the new idea email

Send admin notifications (like "new idea submitted") to a different email address. By default they go to your WordPress admin email.

Step by step

  1. In the WordPress admin menu, click SimpleBoards > Settings.
  2. Open the Notifications tab.
  3. In the Recipients & Subscriptions section, find the Notification Email field.
  4. Clear the box and type the email address you want to use. Example: [email protected].
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

What changed

From now on, every admin email from SimpleBoards goes to this address. This covers the "New idea submission" email, the "Item rejected" record, and the "New comment published" email (when those notifications are turned on).

This setting does not change emails sent to the person who submitted an idea or to subscribers of an item. Those go to the user's own email address.
