The agreement between you and SimpleBoards when you use our plugin or buy a Pro license.
These terms apply when you use this website, the SimpleBoards plugin, or the Pro add-on. By buying a license or using the plugin, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the plugin.
The free SimpleBoards plugin is released under the GPL v2 license, the same license as WordPress. You are free to use, study, and modify it under those terms.
The Pro add-on is also GPL licensed, but access to updates and support requires an active paid license. A license lets you activate Pro on the number of sites in your plan. Your license key is personal to you, so please keep it private and do not share or resell it.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Yearly plans renew automatically each year at the then current price until you cancel. Lifetime plans are a one time payment. You can cancel a renewal at any time from your account or by emailing us, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.

You agree not to use the plugin or this website to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
The SimpleBoards name, logo, and website content belong to us. The GPL license on the code does not give you the right to use our brand as your own.
We work hard to keep SimpleBoards reliable, but we provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the plugin will be free of bugs or that it will fit every possible use. You are responsible for keeping backups of your site.
To the extent the law allows, SimpleBoards is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profit arising from your use of the plugin or website. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the plugin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
